Part of the vast Dolomiti Superski carousel, Kronplatz is the number one ski mountain in Italy’s South Tyrol.

At 2,275m, its eponymous peak towers over the landscape and from its spectacular plateau there are awe-inspiring 360° panoramic views along the Pustertal valley, south to the Dolomites and north to the northeastern Alps.

Its award-winning reputation is built around its 31 ultra-modern lifts – mostly cable cars - and sophisticated snow-making system that guarantees 100% snow coverage on its 116km of pistes.

On the slopes it offers plenty of blue runs for beginners and reds for intermediates, and is one of only a few ski resorts in the Alps to boast five black slopes.

Kronplatz is particularly good for children with several ski kindergarten, a Kids Safety Park, a Snow Park, kiddies restaurant and kids clubs.

It’s incredibly well-connected too. From a brand-new train station you can take the Ski Pustertal Express to Dolomiti di Sesto with its 200 km of ski runs! And as part of the Dolomiti Superski network, an extra 1,200 km of skiing are well within reach, including the famous Sella Ronda ski circuit.

Some 40 inns and après-ski bars, as well as a host of music and sports events make for a holiday filled to the brim.
