The British Embassy is increasing the amount of advice it's providing to UK residents in the popular Bulgarian ski area of Bansko.

The embassy has sought to increase awareness of what help is, and isn't available in Bulgaria, "when things go wrong."
Jon O'Shaughnessy, the British consul since last February, will be visiting the resort in November to meet business leaders and tourists to discuss relevant issues.

Mr O'Shaughnessy maintains the 'UKinBulgaria' Facebook page for topical updates and the British Embassy page.
