Jackson_HoleJackson Hole has invested $4.5 million to make guests' experience more enjoyable.

A re-designed Kids Ranch, new lift and increased snowmaking and grooming are among the improvements for the 2011/2012 winter season. The US resort spent the summer building a new double chairlift – the new Marmot chairlift will carry skiers and snowboarders 1,200 vertical feet from South Pass Traverse, below the existing Thunder Lift, to the top of the gondola. The resort says that the new chair will significantly improve skier flow across the mountain, making it easier to travel not just up and down the mountain, but also across.
