LECHMonach Airlines have announced direct flights from the UK to Friedrichshafen airport in southern Germany, which has easy access to more than 50 internationally recognised ski areas in the Alps.

The six weekly flights are from London Gatwick and Manchester airports and will be running from December 2012 to April 2013.

The airport’s location next to Lake Constance offers faster transfer times to ski resorts in southern Germany, northern Italy, eastern Switzerland and western Austria, allowing for same day flying and skiing. Quality ski resorts including St. Anton, Lech, Zurs and Flims-Laax  are only a 90 minute transfer from Friedrichshafen.
