La Tania, the newest of the Three Valleys resorts, is set to host a new 2-star Freeride World Qualifier this spring.

The first 'Ride the Rock' event will take place on the infamous Rocher de La Loze, with qualifiers held the day before on the Dou des Lanches. The competition is open to all: males and females, professionals and amateurs, skiers and snowboarders. Seventy riders will compete in four different categories in the qualifiers, based on the Freeride World Ranking and registration files.

La Tania was purpose-built for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics to host athletes and journalists. With its pedestrianised centre and manageable scale, La Tania is a user-friendly resort with a friendly atmosphere. The resort also boasts a stunning natural setting in the heart of a protected spruce forest, halfway between Courchevel and Meribel.
