Solden2The Austrian Tirol received more snow this week on the glaciers at Stubai, Solden and Pitztal creating near perfect skiing conditions at the start of the winter season.
In Solden, where the FIS Ski Worldcup took place last weekend, there was another 15cm of snow on the glacier this week bringing the total snow depth to 85cm. All 10 lifts on the glacier are now open. Soelden Copyright  Foto Nosig  3

























Meanwhile on the Stubai glacier, where 15 lifts and 11 slopes are now open, another 55cm of snow has fallen. Forty one kilometres of slopes are in operation on the glacier. Stubai Gletscher 281012

Over the last week the Pitztal glacier has received 60cm of new snow. Skiers are reporting excellent skiing on perfect snow.
