Snowboard Olympian Jamie Nicholls has capitalised on the success of last years viral phenomenon which received more than 7 million views where he boarded down a course of hits and rails in and around the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead by releasing a bigger and better version creatively entitled ‘Hemel Run 2’.

Starting at the back of the centre with a huge drop off a railing, Jamie’s 2014 ‘Hemel snowboard run’ saw him ride through a narrow doorway onto the Snow Centres Lesson Slope, whilst styling some tricks on a jump and a rail on the way down. He then sped through a corridor, round a tight bend and out into the Snow Centre car park, where he proceeded to jump 4ft onto the railings!

2015’s stunt features a brand new route around the outside of the building and past the Snow Centre’s 160m Main Slope, hitting kickers and rails on the way.

The highlight of the video is Jamie completing a Switch Frontside Rodeo 540 Spin (a frontflip with a 540 degree spin in the air) as he gapped a stairway from inside the Snow Centre to the car park outside.

Jamie said “I am excited to see if everyone likes my 2015 ‘Hemel Run 2’ as much as 2014’s footage! It’s definitely bigger and better than last year’s! I just wanted to do something even more inspiring that would push the limits of UK snowboarding even further. This time we had the Red Bull winch, which helped me reach greater speeds and so much support from everyone, including GB Park & Pipe, Red Bull, The Snow Centre, Nike, Salomon and UK Sport.”
