The company behind the Ski and Snowboard Show has been bought by the Telegraph Media Group, owners of The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph. VOS Media run several shows including The Ski and Snowboard Show, The Outdoors Show, The London Bike Show, The Active Travel Show, and the Vitality Show. Telegraph Media Group has acquired a majority share in VOS Media, with managing director of VOS Media retaining a minority equity stake.
The Ski and Snowboard Show has also recently announced a new live show – the Ski and Snowboard Show North. The new show will be held at Event City, Manchester, on 25-27 October 2013 – the same weekend a new ski show, In The Snow Live, is being launched at Birmingham’s NEC.
We reported on the launch of the new Birmingham show last month. The two new shows will go head-to-head competing for visitors – and exhibitors - this autumn. And now, the Manchester show has the backing of the Telegraph.
