Skicycle.co.uk offers skiers and boarders a place to offload old, unwanted or grown out of kit. If you're feeling generous you can give your gear away for free, or if you need to raise some cash to fund your next trip then there is also the option to sell it.
Director Alan Muir said: 'I've been a skier all my life and now that I'm also a dad I realised that, like me, others were going to find the cost of taking their family on a regular skiing holiday a bit out of reach.
'I looked around for somewhere I could simply buy and sell good ski gear and there was nowhere to go. At that moment the idea for skicycle.co.uk came to me and the more I talked to my friends and family about it the more it seemed like a good idea.'
