Didriksons Mission Pants
It's pretty normal practice to have to shell out of good few quid for Scandinavian ski wear, so Didriksons' Mission pants come as quite a surprise since they cost a tenner under £100.
And it's not as if you get any corner cutting in order to keep the price down. The Mission uses Didriksons' hard-wearing Stormsystem fabric which is 100 per cent waterproof, windproof and breathable, and all seams are taped.
You also get a fully insulated lining, and even the pockets (two front, two rear, all zipped) have a soft microfleece lining.
The cut is quite relaxed so there's plenty of room for movement, and there's a decent sized scuff guard plus boot gaiter with silicon grip to keep the snow out.
Good sized belt loops mean you can use a correspondingly good sized belt to keep the Missions in place, and overall this really is a good example of a simple, straightforward design with most of the essential features you require in a pair of ski pants - and at a very good price.
If you're on a budget you should definitely check out the Mission pants; and if you're not on a budget they're still worth checking out if you like value-for-money.
