Great environmental credentials
No powder skirt

A lot of thought has gone into the design of Picture's Eno jacket - it uses a single piece of multi-density fabric in order to keep stitching to a minimum and optimise waterproofness and breathability, with the different densities being placed where they're most needed to allow for effective performance, such as placing more hardwearing material around the chest, back and shoulders.

On top of that the Eno is made from Greenplus environmentally friendly 55 per cent recycled polyester.

The jacket features pretty much all the essentials in a jacket aimed mainly at freeriders, although rather surprisingly there's no powder skirt.

The hood is helmet compatible and although not offering the best peripheral vision of those we tested it's still passable on that score. Beneath this is a high, snug microfleece lined collar. All outer pockets have laser cut and waterproof zips, including two chest and two hand pockets. The left hand chest pocket also comes with an extendable transparent lift pass holder, which is overkill a little since there's a zipped lift pass pocket on the left sleeve. The pit zips are waterproof too.

In addition you'll find hand gaiters, Velcro adjustable cuffs and adjustable hem. Above all you get a really solid build quality - the Eno feels and looks like it's designed to take a hammering, and as such will suit riders who give their kit a lot of stick.
