Not everyone feels the same about any one ski, and we're going against the grain with our review of the Dynastar Cham W 87 by giving it unconventionally low scores.

Here's exactly what our tester thought of the Cham 87, direct from her notes - we admire her honest approach as it just goes to show that not everyone has the same view on a pair of skis even if the majority opinion may be different:

' I've never really enjoyed the Cham. I don't know why, because everyone else seems to love them! I just always feel awkward and uncomfortable on them and generally fear for my life off-piste. Maybe it's because of their women-specific design, weighting and set up. I'm used to skiing on lad's skis and find these too sketchy.'

Which means, of course, that if you're used to skiing on women-specific skis you may well enjoy the Cham 87; but if you like to push things a bit perhaps the men's version will suit you better, in which case see our Cham 97 review.
