Sometimes you just want a ski that will handle everything comfortably and predictably rather than something that excels only in one thing or another; and the Buzz does just that.
We found that it helped us ski everything we took it onto with ease and confidence; good edge hold at high and low speeds and in short and long radius turns (especially nice in longer turns); smooth and lively both on- and off-piste; able to hold well on hard and/or icy snow; and wide enough to float through the ankle deep powder that Kuhtai provided last winter.
Which is pretty much all you need in a freeride ski, and certainly much to be recommended to any advanced level skier looking for a pair of planks to take them more or less anywhere on the mountain.
The light Poplar woodcore construction is complimented with fibreglass and carbon to ensure strength whilst retaining a lightweight feel - the Buzz would certainly suit a lighter male skier as you don't need to throw all your weight around on them.
For this reason, they would also make an excellent touring ski option if you're considering shorter tours in search of powder snow conditions.
So whether you want to turns as smooth as honey or ones that sting like a bee, the buzz could just be the ski for you.
