The Nordica Bushywayne is a ski you'd ideally test in the huge powder stashes of Alaska, BC or Japan; unfortunately we were in Austria, so it wasn't easy to put it through its paces properly.

It's unlikely that Nordica will be selling the Bushywayne in huge quantities simply because it's so specialised - with a 127mm waist this is not the ski for anything other than bottomless powder.

Consequently it skitters and flaps around on groomed terrain but then why use it there (unless you're a ski tester)?

In the limited powder available to us during the test week the Bushywayne floated through it with ease and encouraged long, swooping turns. It would be the ski of choice for many riders on a big powder day, and the graphics look as great as you will when the Wayne floats you through that deep pow.
