By the time we got to ski the Pursuit 600 it was late in the day in Kuhtai so the pistes were pretty hard packed, if not icy in places; even so the ski provided us with great edge grip and control on these harder surfaces, and other than when we were absolutely hammering it we felt like we were on rails, carving smooth turns with the confidence to hold and edge from start to finish.

Responsive, loose and fun were the adjectives one of our testers scribbled down, all which make for an enjoyable ski experience; we also quite liked the understated topsheet, which follows the designs of most if not all of the 'Rossi' stable these days.

The woodcore construction is cambered most of the way down the ski, which means you get plenty of power and control in the turn, whilst the rockered tip gives skiers easy turn initiation.

Accessible, yet powerful - the Pursuit 600 might not be the most glamorous of models on the cat-ski couloir, but despite this, they're not afraid to strut their stuff and show that underneath the slightly corporate looking veneer, there's a real ski party animal waiting to be taken for ride.

Add to that a decent value ski and bindings package and the Pursuit 600 is well worth the once over from any advanced skier looking for a good all-round piste ski.
