The Scott Luna is an all-mountain ski that's aimed towards advanced and expert female skiers who require a tool that handles well off-piste but can be perfectly happy on the groomed slopes too. On test in Kuhtai, Austria, we discovered just how it handles in a variety of conditions.

Scott Skis never fail to impress with their top sheet good looks and the Luna is no exception.

'Another great looking ski from Scott,' said one of our testers.

Of course you shouldn't judge a ski by its cover, but the Luna matched up with its performance too.

'These skis are happiest off piste,' came one enthusiastic comment.

'The Venturi tip and rocker help lift in the powder while the titanal layers give them strength and make them stable in chopped up snow and crud.'

The Luna certainly seems happiest off the beaten track, but hold its own on the groomed stuff too.

Great edge control on piste, but can get a bit shaky and twitchy on ice and at speed.

Conclusion? An ideal ski for those looking for a fun all mountain (erring towards off-piste) ride.
