Sitting just underneath the SLX, the Ion is a great option for anyone who likes a responsive boot for all mountain riding. It encompases tons of Burton's best tech and simply putting it on feels amazing.

Hands down the snowboard boot of the board test for me, I wore these boots half the time I was there and couldn't get over how comfy they were. Perhaps not the best boot for lapping the park, otherwise flat out amazing and light too!

I was using quite a few different bindings throughout the test and the Burton boots meshed nicely with all of them, they were also amazingly supportive when flying down the mountain, jumping in and out of pow and just hopping off of any roller in sight.

Probably a little pricey and firm for a new rider, these would suit any confident rider who just want a boot they can push their riding to the next level in.
