Lange's new intermediate ski boot, the SX 80, is based on the acclaimed RX range but offers more comfort than the higher end boots within the range.

It has a 102mm last that provides extra room in the shell so your feet won't feel like they're in a vice, and we liked the soft inserts over the instep which allow for easier entry and exit.

The 80 flex is ideal for perfecting turns as it supports and drives energy without being difficult or tiring - another reasons this is a good intermediate option - and there's good heel control too so you shouldn't feel them lifting as you apply pressure on the front of the boots.

The SX 80's PU shell is firm and responsive, created using a mono-injected process which until now has only been associated with narrower, stiffer, high performance boots, giving you correspondingly good performance along with comfort.) and delivers real-deal performance.
