Mountain Heaven (www.mountainheaven.co.uk), a chalet company with bases in La Plagne, La Rosiere and Grimentz are going to break the long-standing industry rule of the chalet chef's night off, when guests need to eat out, and trial offering chalet meals seven nights a week in one property.

"Last season many customers were asking to eat in the chalets on the host's night off as the cost of going out to eat was very expensive for families. However due to insurance reasons and French law using the kitchen equipment is not allowed hence the trial of the new concept at no additional cost to the guests." says director Nick Williams. If successful Mountain Heaven may extend the offer to other chalets next season.
