Stylish and competent - great for all over the mountain.
Pockets are on the small side and the cut is a little tight.

The Weekend+ is a quality bit of kit that'll keep you protected out on the mountain and looks the part too. Designed to be form fitting and allow for maximum ease of movement it also has PrimaLoft insulation to keep you toasty in almost any conditions.

This jacket really holds its own against the elements. We tested the Weekend+ in heavy, wet snow and the water-resist AdvancedSkin Dry 20/20 fabric did its job. Tech tucked away in the pockets was kept safe and dry due to the high tech fabric and taped zips and seams. The high-quality PrimaLoft insulation also performed as you'd expect and kept us warm, but never overheated.

The fit is feminine but practical with pleats in the back and Motion Fit technology so you can do your thing without it pulling in any uncomfortable places. We did find that the fit overall was a little snug, so take the time to select the right size for you and consider how much layering up you like to do.

The hood is warm, well fitting and versatile. It's removable, has a removable fur trim and an optional peak. However, it is not designed to be worn over a helmet.

Understated and elegant, this jacket certainly wins points for style. The subtle addition of a multi-coloured or 'space-dyed' yarn woven through the main navy blue colour makes for an unusual and attractive garment.

Other features worth mentioning include wrist gaiters, which are comfortable under gloves, adjustable snow skirt, three different fabrics used in the lining for breathability and warmth, and a goggle cloth attached to one pocket. The jacket includes a pass pocket on the left arm, a goggle pocket inside, a zipped inside pocket as well the two zipped hand-warmer pockets. The only downside we can see here, is that the inside pocket could be bigger. It doesn't fit much more than a phone and lip balm, so not the most useful if you prefer not to take a backpack up the mountain with you.
