One of the original snowboards from DC, the Ply has been around for a while and seen countless updates and refinements but still embodies that fun, all-mountain feeling and I was stoked to be able to test it again.

The Ply feels as close as it gets to snowboarding on a skateboard and is designed primarily for park with the ability to still ride the rest of the mountain when you want to.

The board has a very loose feel to it and although it uses the lock and load camber, it is still easy to turn and carves well. I did find it a bit washy at times, although in the park is absolutely bossed it and demolished every feature.

The Ply has plenty of pop too and can happily fly down the piste although it isn't the fastest board I have ever ridden. In Pow the camber profile and softer flex were a bit of a struggle, so overall I'd recommend this one more for park riding.

Any rider will get on with the Ply but more advanced riders might want to consider looking at the Mega.
