The Corvus is a big mountain freeride ski that somehow also manages to feel smooth on the groomed slopes, despite being 109mm in width under your boot.

We tested the Corvus in powder snow conditions in Kuhtai Austria and found it felt light and quick to turn in the powder. It was great fun and fast, with both short or long turns feeling easy to manage.

These skis would suit an expert off-piste skier or seasonaire who wants to ride mainly off-piste but also enjoy the journey home on the piste at the end of the day.

Whether tackling big, steep Alpine faces or blasting through a tight-packed powder-filled forest, the Corvus will deliver.

Downsides? We really couldn't find any - unless you want to spend all your time on groomed slopes.
