The Fischer Ranger 106 Ti was a favourite on our 2014 ski test in Austria and proved to be a real winner in all conditions. It's not the cheapest ski on the market, but the price feels justified when you get on-board and really feel the power through every turn.

Fischer Sports Ranger 106 Ti is a Big Mountain ski - designed for riding through deep powder for expert skiers. It was put through its paces on our ski test in all conditions, on and off-piste, and it certainly lived up to expectations.

Stable and fun at the same time, the Sports Ranger was one of our favourite skis of the whole ski test week, and it made us feel really confident blasting through the deeper snow off-piste.

We were also surprised how good the ski performed on groomed slopes. You'd think a ski this wide wouldn't want to turn on a groomed surface, but it carves amazingly well.

The Sports Ranger is not a ski for messing about on though. This is a big boys ski and you need to be strong and confident to get the most out of it. But the reward is that it gives back everything you put in and more.
