The Head MYA 10 is a new freeride ski that has come top of this category in our 2013 winter ski test.
It floated in powder and cut through chopped up snow with ease and its versatility means that on-piste, it turns pretty well too. Designed mostly for advanced to expert skiers who spend most of their time off-piste, it’s a powerful ski that demands good technique to bring out the best in performance.
Our testers simply loved it though and pushed it to its limits on terrain the ski likes the most, powder and wide open bowls away from the groomed runs.
Surprisingly it performed well on-piste too, so when conditions just don’t suit, they are happy enough carving down the odd red run or two. Would suit a confident skier or 'seasonaire' looking to ski the whole mountain.
