It was enjoyed by all of our female testers of all levels on the 2013 on snow ski test in Austria. A good all mountain ski that can provide a one ski does it all tool for every ability level from intermediate upwards.

Scott make a wide variety of good quality all mountain and freeride skis and the Luna is one of the key models in the collection.

It’s a true ‘do it all, go anywhere’ tool for advanced to expert female skiers who enjoy playing on every face of the mountain, from wide open spaces to small nooks and crannies.

The Venturi tip is designed to make turn initiation easy and smooth, whilst providing stability and control throughout the curve of the turn.

In powder, they float well, with the Venturi tip rocker providing the float and the 85mm under foot providing a solid base.

On-piste, they feel just as at home, although you get the feeling they hunger for the powder if they’re kept away for too long.

The general feeling was that the Luna was a great all round ski and would suit most levels from intermediate upwards, even though they are designed for experts.

Anyone looking to ski powder for the first time would also feel comfortable on them and therefore they’d be a great ski to have if you’re starting a ski season as a box standard recreational skier but intend to end up as an all mountain expert by the end.
