The new Volk 100 EIGHT Pink skis look and feel awesome. The phat (yes, with a ph) appearance and width underfoot helps powder hungry ladies tackle the back country with float and style.

The nose feels more like it should belong to a freestyle ski and makes it really easy to initiate turns and tackle more choppy terrain.

We were surprised how agile and playful the 100 EIGHTs were, whilst still maintaining stiffness and power as you exit the turn. The stability and responsiveness gave us real confidence and we found them less intimidating and more forgiving than other Freeride skis of a similar width.

They may look pretty gnarly and badass but the confidence-building construction of these skis makes them open to all aspiring off-pisters. Overall we loved these skis and would recommend them to any ladies looking to advance and progress off the beaten track.
