The Backbowls utilise Helly Hansen's own Helly Tech Professional two-layer fabric with FLOW membrane. This is their top of the range fabric so should perform as well as any of the other premium fabrics out there - and it does. In use the fabric breathes well, even when hiking, and the DWR finish, water resistant zips and sealed seams keep external moisture firmly out even in the roughest of snow storms.
The Backbowl pants also keep you warm without adding too much bulk thanks to a thin layer of Primaloft insulation and a brushed lining which also gives great next-to-skin comfort.
Add to this articulated knees, a 2-way stretch, seat and knee insulation and jacket-to-pant integration and you get a ski pant that's seriously comfortable to wear.
A couple of nice large front pockets give you enough storage for essentials and the inner thigh venting zips help to regulate temperature allowing you to quickly shed excess accumulated body heat.
