The Apo Paragon is designed to deal with front side conditions with some versatility in the bumps and powder. We reviewed them during our 2014 ski test in Kuhtai, Austria.
Swiss ski company Apo specialise in freestyle, backcountry and all mountain models - they might not be the biggest name in skiing, but have been making skis since 1983 and have grown into a respectable brand that now focuses on the freestyle and freeride scene.
The Paragon is a true all-mountain ski aimed at a recreational to advanced skier. It's easy to turn and very forgiving, especially at lower speeds.
One of our testers commented, 'it's fun in the moguls and nice and easy to turn on groomed slopes too'.
It gets a little shaky when the going gets fast, but for anyone looking to improve their carving with the option to take them further afield and explore some more interesting terrain, they would work very well.
