In test the Atomic Automatic 102 came across as a competent but not over-exciting performer; but then not everyone wants their skis to surprise them, so there's definitely a market out there for these planks

The Automatic 102 could perhaps best be described as a predictable performer in most conditions.

Slightly better off piste than on, it took most things in its stride without over exciting our tester and actually came out with a very respectable overall score without having earned top marks in any one category.

For many skiers this predictability will appeal though. You don't need to work the Automatic 102 excessively, but equally it won't spring any surprises on you.
