Home to two distinct resorts, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort, the skiing experience is just the start of the what this historic old silver mining town has to offer. Here are ten great reasons why you need to visit Park City this winter:

It’s easy to get to

Flying to the US may take a bit longer than jetting off to the Alps, but once you’ve landed, the transfer from Salt Lake City International to resort more than makes up for the flying time. It’s just a speedy 35-minute transfer that’s as quick as taking a tube ride in London. And you can get direct flights to Salt Lake City from Amsterdam and Paris.

Ski trees, powder and beyond

It’s perfect for families

A multi-million-dollar investment in the resorts for 2018/19. will take Park City to the top of the tree as the leading family ski and snowboard experience, the top Ski and Snowboard School in the state and as the definitive choice for signature mountain-top dining.

New at Park City Mountain, the High Meadow Family Fun Zone will be a dedicated learning area for beginners, children, and families, and a new Candy Cabin will offer guests a sweet treat during a rest break.

Over in Deer Valley Resort, the Homestake chairlift is getting replaced by a new, detachable, high-speed quad chairlift, which will cut ride time in half and provides easy access from the Silver Lake Village to the top of Bald Eagle Mountain.
