Finally, a baselayer that doesn't cost the earth!

At just £34.99, the Protest Emphasis is a great value thermal top that will appeal to anyone who is bored of the 'same old, same old' serious black baselayers.

The rose pink/ground blue colour combination and mountain design are immediately different and we love the injection of fun it has brought to our winter baselayer line-up. We've worn the top for a range of winter activities including blustery hill walks, snowy runs, night-time mountain bike raids and can confirm it works really well across the board.

The power stretch fabric with four way stretch feels great next to skin but it's definitely clingy so worth bearing in mind if you like your first layers on the looser side of tight. Cosy without being claustrophobic, the Emphasis breathes well when moving at speed and does a great job of wicking away moisture and managing sweat-induced stink! It's also easy to wash and keeps its shape really well unlike many of its more expensive baselayer brethren.

Pair it with the Prophecy pants and you've got a really funky looking set up for the winter that's perfect for on the hill wear, après styling or just kicking back in the chalet at the end of the day. Affordable, cool as all hell and designed to deliver across the winter wonderland, we seriously can't get enough of this fun-loving thermal winter adventure top!
