great design and great looks
as a piste jacket maybe there's a slight excess of off-piste oriented features?

The Sentinel jacket has design features optimised for piste skiing. Constructed from N70p Gore-tex with 3L soft shell construction, it's windproof, waterproof and has a soft brushed liner for light insulation.

There's built-in articulation through the shoulders and sleeves and a relaxed cut for easy layering, and it has a women-specific cut.

Features include micro-seams to reduce weight and bulk, a helmet compatible hood with laminated brim and easy adjustment, an internal chest pocket with laminated zip, laminated sleeve pocket with laminated zip and two large hand pockets.

A little surprisingly for a piste-oriented jacket the Sentinel comes with a snow skirt and pockets that are located such that access is easy when wearing a pack although do that many people wear a pack for piste skiing?

Either way, it's no disadvantage to have these features and with or without them this is another great piece of kit from Arc'teryx that looks good and performs great.
