gorgeous looks and packed with functional features
the big (but justified) price tag

With gorgeous looks and a soft-shell feel to its four-way stretch Venturi fabric, the Harmony looks and feels every bit as good as its high-end price suggests. Look beyond the stylish waisted cut, white and pink accents on the zips, shoulders, sleeves and hood, and you'll find a jacket packed with quality technical features for comfort and functionality on the mountain.

On the top there is a zippered detachable hood with elastic cord adjustment so you can fit it snugly to your head size, and a luxuriously high collar with a padded fleece liner inside. The external zips are all self-sealing and water repellent, with solid looking tabs that are workable even with gloved hands, while the main zip down the front has an underlap flat for extra weather protection.

There are no shortage of pockets either: on the outside you get two decent-sized chest pockets, two fleece-line side pockets that will just take small gloved hands, and an arm pocket with a concealed zip for your ski pass. The two side pockets even have small loops inside, which we presume are for attaching key-rings.

Inside the jacket, you'll find a zippered pocket for your phone, a ski glasses pocket with a cleaning cloth on an elastic band, as well as a zippered safety pocket. Zippered into the waist is a detachable elasticated snow guard with silicon grippers to stop the jacket riding up.

In use the Harmony proves waterproof out of the box, with a potential soaking rain shower simply beading up and rolling off the Venturi fabric. Taped shoulder seams should ensure no moisture gets in that way either. The mollycoddling continues at the cuffs, where two fleece inner cuffs with thumb holes guarantee your warmth stays in and the weather stays out. The result of all this luxury is a warm jacket but the breathability of the Venturi fabric works well and thankfully there are pit zips for ventilation when you're working really hard.
