We tested the Process Flying V last year and had a blast on it. The Burton Process Off Axis is like the grown up brother that still has a mischievous streak.
The Process Off Axis has a predominately camber profile with gives it a more solid feel when carving, and a pop that is more charged than the Flying V.
Also, unlike the Flying V, this board needs to be ridden aggressively to get the most out of it, but it can really fly when let loose.
Spring half-baked snow was not a problem and despite the camber, it felt stable and forgiving.
Maybe not the number one choice for powder, it still handles the deep stuff well and has a pleasant floaty feeling.
The Process Off-Axis is a great stick for park lappers as it nails boxes and rails, with a snappy pop for kickers.
We also had great fun jibbing about the groomers, especially presses. It is not as loose and buttery as the flying V, but still great fun.
Overall, I think the Burton Process Off-Axis is more competent and all-rounded than it's sibling, and great value for money.
