Our test crew thought the DC PBJ is an ideal urban stick for pro and wanna-be park rats that want to do few piste laps at the end of the day.

The DC PBJ is not quite an All-Mountain board and is heavily focused for park and street, but fun can still be had riding around on groomed runs. When riding at speed it can feel a little clattery underneath the feet, but the slightly lose feel and forgiveness gives the PBJ a playful personality for butters, presses and side hitters.

Although very flexible, it does have a slight stiffness which is good for generating decent pop for ollies. The board doesn't handle bumpy terrain too well and I wouldn't recommend straying too far off-piste - but it performs well enough in light powder snow.

The PBJ feels at home in the park, and is great for jib/rail and box work. It also handles small to medium sized jumps pretty well and is forgiving on those scrubbed landings. The board feels light and incorporates DC's 'tear the roof off' weight shaving top sheet.

With the PBJ, DC have created a great jib board that can also be taken out for a spin over the whole mountain. Some will love that it has a traditional camber for locking in on turns and arching carves, but others may need a run or two to break in if used to hybrid or rocker profiles.

Beginners will appreciate the easy turn initiation and forgiving trait, while intermediates will be able to easily progress into practicing ground tricks and small jumps. Advanced riders will be able to release the full potential of the PBJ.
