The K2 Fast Plant is a bomb proof jib stick that can be used for all mountain. It is so durable that K2 have slapped an impressive five year warranty on it. Not only that, according to K2, the base deeply absorbs wax making for a longer ride between wax sessions.

The Fast Plant has a flat profile which rises just past the bindings for a rideable surface which is ideal for presses.

The bamboo core gives the board a solid feel with an interesting feature of an ollie bar, which is a pre-loaded camber shape across the middle of the board for generating extra snap.

This isn't just a jib stick and really holds it own out on the slopes. Maybe not the best for locking in those edges for carving, it is great fun for hitting those groomers at speed and feels nice and stable without any chatter.

The Fast Plant is okay in powder but doesn't have that effortless floaty feeling and is hard work. But then again, it is freestyle orientated.

With that it in mind it is great fun jibbing around the piste with ollies, presses and spins. Despite being as robust as a tank, it is playful when needed.

All in all the K2 Fast Plant is a mean machine as a jib stick, that is also great for cruising around the mountain.
