Would our test team find the Lib Tech Box Scratcher to be pure joy on a stick, or were they left scratching their heads in bewilderment? They tested it out in Kaunertal, Austria to find out.

What an awesome board! We took out the 154 which is slightly shorter than what we are all used to, but it we still had all the control needed and it was a superb all-rounder.

This is an old favourite from Lib Tech and it is so easy to see why. The Box Scratcher can make even the sketchiest jibber go from zero to hero. For the more advanced riders, it will make you level up.

Oozing buttery playfulness, the Box Scratcher is a puppy off the leash with presses, butters and general jibbing around. This stick simply can handle park laps all day long and is great for boxes.

Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to take this board into the pipe, but the word out is that the Box Scratcher handles itself pretty well.

The profile shape is a version of Lib Tech's famous banana shape, where it has full-on rocker in the middle, but then a mild camber under feet.

It also has Lib Tech's Magne-Traction edging which gives the board great grip for carving, but not too much to detract it from freestyle duties. It also has a super-fast turn initiation and is as forgiving as a Buddhist Monk after meditation.

Although not for speed freaks as it can get a little chattery, it is good fun to cruise around the groomers. The Box Scratcher even negotiates uneven terrain and hard packed snow well. It is in no way a mountain slayer, but nor does it pretend to be!

The Box Scratcher is also light with great pop, and so a pure joy for side hits. It is also good fun to hit kickers with, feeling stable in the air and solid when landing.

Being Twin Directional, you can switch ride this board till your heart's content.

The Box Scratcher is still one of the best board's in Lib Tech's quiver. Pure joy.
