The shape and quadralizer sidecut, holds your carves really well
Base not as fast as competitors at similar price.

The Salomon Assassin is an All-Mountain / Freestyle, directional twin snowboard suited to intermediate+ riders who want to take away just one board that works super well in a variety of different conditions, from lapping the park and carving groomers to playing in the pow.

The ‘Rock Out Camber’ profile, features a stable flat section between the bindings, camber underfoot to help lock in an edge and then rocker in the nose and tail to help float in the fresh and also to press / butter about the whole mountain.

The Quadralizer sidecut not only makes turn initiation predictable and smooth but also provides ultimate edge control giving you the confidence to charge harder. The board feels light and nimble underfoot, has great pop and features cork sidewalls to help reduce chatter on harder packed snow.

VERDICT If you’re looking for one board to do it all the Assassin is a great option.
