The Head Kore 93 W 2020/21 remains largely unchanged from last year, so our 2019/20 review of the Head Kore 93 W, below, still stands.

Head's Kore have been very successful men's freeride skis for a few years now, so we were excited to try the female models, the 93 and 99 W. They come in shorter lengths and have a more forward mount point for women's specific style - amazingly those are the only changes!

Built with the same hardcore construction as the original Kore skis, these are an incredibly lightweight, yet stiff ski - obviously, they're made by Head! This is thanks to a Karuba wood core, graphene reinforcements and a woven polyester topsheet.

Graphene is used in the tip and tail of the ski to keep it light and responsive off piste, combined with a rocker/camber/rocker profile making it a lot of fun in the powder.

Since the Kore doesn't have any metal, it is lightweight, but doesn't have the dampening qualities of some other models. However, it more than compensates in other areas.

The Head Kore W is a wicked women's ski for backcountry chargers. It is super fun and could even work with a touring binding to access less crowded lines. Equally it is super fun on hard groomers. One to enjoy every day.
