A super-smooth ski that is great at damping out the bumps
Not great at short turns on the steep

Head market the SuperShape Magnum as a ski for any skier young or old, big or small, which is something that reflects in the size guide, ranging from 149cm to 177cm. The 170cm length has a 72cm waist with a 131cm shovel sized tip and 110cm tail, which equals a 13.1m turning radius. This makes these skis very easy to handle, particularly when initiating turns at low speed.

The wide shovel is great if conditions get slushy at the end of the day, as it will give you a certain amount of floatation to ride out the crud, but for short turns on a steep, hard piste the larger tip makes the turn initiation a little slow to power up.

However, medium to long radius turns on a hard packed piste is where this ski really excels - great for blasting around at speed.

The construction is wood core with titanium sheet, but also includes a sheet of Graphene, which claims to be the thinnest yet strongest material on the planet. The ski gives you a really smooth ride and is great at damping out the bumps.

The Head SuperShape Magnums are perfect for skiers who like to enjoy the pistes all day long, whatever the snow conditions.
