Fantastic at short turns on the piste, with a good fun pop at the end of the turn
Not very versatile, in variable conditions

Are short turns your jam? Do you count the number of perfectly symmetrical turns you can squeeze into one run? These are the questions that K2 ask you when you're considering taking these skis for a spin. If the answer is yes to the above then you are guaranteed to have some fun.

We are always quite wary of laying down short turns on a steep slope on a pair of skis we've not skied before, but happily the Turbo Chargers did not cause us any embarrassment and we immediately felt balanced and stable.

Turn initiation was easy, and they powered up nicely at the top of the turn. Even with a fun pop at the end of the turn, we never felt like we were going to end up in the backseat.

The construction of Aspen Paulownia wood core with 2 layers of titanal and a carbon & fibreglass laminate makes for one of the stiffer skis in this category, but we found that they don't require huge effort to make them turn.

The Turbo Chargers have no rocker at the tip and combined with their stiffness and shorter length, these skis are in their element on the piste and aren't suited to heading off into the wild.

Ideal for good dynamic skiers who like to arc out some short turns on the piste.
