Nordica produce a full range of skis across all the major categories of piste, all-mountain, freeride, race and big mountain. The Belle to Belle is designed for recreational skiers looking to progress up to their next level of skiing.

'They're pretty easy to manoeuvre and responded well in the shorter-medium turns but they felt weak at pace,' said one of our testers.

'They'd cope in most piste conditions although they might struggle in deeper powder. Good for an intermediate skier who spends most of their time on the piste but likes to flirt off the sides.'

They're a light ski with a laminated wood core that reduces weight and makes the turn swing easier to manage - perfect for cruising around a red run or trying to improve technique in the moguls.

A good all-round ski that would suit a female skier buying for the first time.

More aggressive skiers should consider the Wild Belle.
