The Nordica Wild Belle seems to have everything going for it, from the ability to handle long fast turns on groomed slopes to switching into powder mode whenever required. We took it all over the mountain during our 2014 ski test in Kuhtai, Austria.

Nordica have increased the waist width from 84mm to 88mm for this winter which has made the Wild Belle more versatile in powder without, it appears, losing any of its on-piste carving ability.

'The Wild Belle delivers all mountain performance and they look beautiful too,' said one of our testers who added, 'Good edge grip when carving on groomers although they judder a little on the ice. They're fun and float really well off piste'.

As well as the increased width under the boot, they have also seen a larger tip and a narrower tail - meaning steering is increased. This has increased their versatility and made them easier to turn in all conditions.

They will suit advanced female skiers who are either improving their turns or want an easy turning ski that covers all bases.

Would also suit an instructor who needs a versatile tool for their work...and play too.
