Very smooth and stable, great for skiing the whole day without getting too knackered.
A little too much damping has perhaps taken some of the zip out of the ski.

When producing the React range, Rossignol have used racing technology adapted specifically for on-piste resort skiing, aiming to help skiers find their 'flow'. Flow is one of the hardest things to master as a recreational skier - the harmony of movement, rhythm, balance and power. It is what makes skiing look effortless.

That is not to say that the React R8 Ti lacks power, it does not. The construction is borrowed from the race department and features Line Control Technology (LCT). Basically the Poplar wood core is cut in half and a titanium track placed in the centre of the ski, ensuring maximum stability.

The tip features Rossignol's Flex Tip technology, which helps the ski pick up the pressure at the start of the turn. The React holds the pressure well though the turn and will not let you down if you really push it.

The 15m radius at length 176cm is perfect for mid to long radius turns, but the flex tip does help with turn initiation in short turns on a steeper slope. The React feels smooth and will easily change between different radius of turns, allowing you to pick the most efficient line down the piste.

It is a ski that most people will feel comfortable on and will allow you to enjoy a whole day on the mountain without burning your legs to a cinder.
