A real confidence builder, the Salomon W Pro SW held up well under review and was a real pleasure to razz down the pistes.

A great value solid ski from Salomon. This lively ski is ideal for intermediates that want to build confidence and take it to the next level. The W Pro has the responsiveness and reliability of a slalom ski with added pop and playfulness.

The carve rocker means it's quick, agile and intuitive and was a real pleasure to fly down the pistes on. Turns were easy to initiate and it held well when on an edge, although those wishing to push a bit harder or tackle more of the mountain may want to consider on of the new constellation range skis.

As with many piste skis they were pretty conservative in appearance but they'd be a solid buy for anyone in the market for a cheeky little 'slalomey' piste number.
