Swedish company POC have risen in recent years to become one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality ski helmets.

There are many models in the collection but the brand new Fornix has grown out of the successful POC mountain bike range that includes the Aramid Bridge Technology.

This system offers large energy dispersion on impact, protecting the head but keeping the helmets weight down considerably.

The fornix would suit recreational to advanced skiers who want to ski the whole mountain and there is a new backcountry version now available with MIPS technology.

One of the features of wearing POC helmets is the simple but distinctive styling that has engaged ski enthusiasts the world over.

The ventilation system built into this helmet is one of the best I’ve worn – open or close according to the conditions!
