MSR Striker 240 Avalanche Probe

It improves probing accuracy and efficiency thanks to its innovative variable-diameter construction, with the lower effective sections featuring an increased 13-mm diameter and thicker walls to reduce deflection which wastes time and energy in searching.

The probe extends to 240cm and collapses down to 46cm, with 5cm depth marking, has a weight just short of 300g and comes with its own stuff sac. In use it’s quick and efficient thanks to its quick-link ferrules and a single-pull positive-locking deployment, plus a nifty T-handle that clips to the probe for more ergonomic use.
