Available at Nevisport, Columbia’s heavyweight base layer comes with a mix of Omni-Heat thermal reflective waffle outer and Omni-Wick inner which – as the name suggests – effectively wicks away moisture.
The material also has four-way stretch for great comfort along with ergonomic seams and it’s antimicrobial so it won’t start to pong if you go for the entire length of your ski holiday without washing it (well, as long as your ‘holiday’ isn’t several weeks in length).
I found it to be quite a versatile top – being heavyweight you have the option of wearing it on its own or with a lightweight base layer beneath, so although not cheap at least it performs more than one function.
