clean, understated looks and good build quality
no hand pockets

I'm not a massive fan of bib pants but the Spencer's bib is stretchy and comfortable, has a useful zipped pocket and the bib and braces can be zipped off if you don't want them.

Below this the waist has very ergonomic adjustable Velcro tabs, and the pants' Gore-tex Pro fabric will keep the elements at bay. The fit is loose enough that I managed to get into a pair of mediums where I normally take large, and l thought the Spencer looked good with its vibrant splashes of colour on the uppers and zips.

There's only one small zipped waist pocket and no hand pockets as such, but you also get two zipped thigh pockets and zipped thigh vents.

Pre-shaped knees sit above Kevlar lower leg ankle reinforcements, zipped adjustable ankles and inside gaiters with non-slip bands, all of which combine to make a pair of tough, well-designed and nice-looking ski pants.
