A 'do-all' mid-layer

The Helly Hansen Warm FZ (full zip) Hoodie is a hoody style mid-layer available in men's and women's flavours.

Helly Hansen have thrown their full bag of techno-jargon at this effort with various technologies like HH Warm, Lifa Stay Dry, and Lifa Flow making an appearance, we don't pretend to know what any of these mean but we do know that under intense use they perform excellently well.

The pure merino wool is non-itch and allergy neutral, I often find that synthetic base-layers can irritate my skin, no such problems here.

The wicking properties of the Warm are excellent when combined with a suitable base layer and the overall comfort factor is superb - I found myself wearing mine around the ski chalet in the evenings as a comfortable alternative to a hoody.

Overall a great product that, although quite pricey, is well worth the investment.
